good morning. hope you find some smiles today. here's my inspiration:
"Today there is no audience," print via one of my new favorite blogs:
Swirly Girl. She writes a lot about writing and does it so soulfully and honestly. I've loved every entry since I started following.

this may be my minimalist husband's idea of visual hell, but how i smile at the thought of such a room! so wrought with memories, color, and age. i want!

Damien Russell found via
desire to inspire)

the idea of writing my weekly letters on such a whimsical, nostalgic, romantic notepad makes me smile indeed.

Ever since our Emily posted the
recipe for these cookies on her ever-lovely
blog, I have kept the page open so I could make them. I would say these are guaranteed to make me smile...must get to grocery store!

i am seriously sighing (is that the same thing as smiling?) with nostalgic whimsy at a dining room with all these books! i love the victorian appeal of the room anyway, but add books?!! sigh.
I finally was able to pop in just this morning and that print was just what I needed to be reminded of this morning. Today there is no audience. Period.
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect.
I need that phrase emblazoned across the walls of my home and studio.
"For my own wild, uninhibited enjoyment..."
ReplyDeleteNew tatoos? :)
I adore the chairs in that room (Joel's "visual hell), and the sight of stacks of books on tables, floors, fences, anywehere makes me smile. I guarentee if you make those cookies you will enjoy yourself!
